I agree with this in theory, but not so much in practice. Well-executed skepticism is based on thorough research and analysis. Too often people shoot from the hip and call something fake/nonsense, just based on looks or feels. This is exactly what skepticism should avoid, shouldn’t it?
Scepticism is incredibly useful, especially in these communities, because all too often you end up looking like gullible fucking morons.
