I believe I hold the 2nd least controversial opinion of, mergers suck and all but I really want to like ABK games again, and I sure don’t see them fixing shit on their own. I think their games and company would improve under Microsoft.

I don’t get the optimism that MS will make ABK better. Is there any games company that become better after acquired by MS?
Rare for example didn’t do anything for 2 decades. Although Mojang arguably maintain their quality, the other first party studio seems declining after acquisition.

It does feel a little like there will be only three mega corporations left that develop games, at this rate. A monopoly is never good.
Is that what triple A stands for? The three asshole corporations developing the non-indie games?
