“Republican states passed laws to empower domestic abusers” would be a great headline
And this time they didn’t even need to increase police budget to do that.
They still did to make sure cops look the other way when the politicians fly their mistress(es) out of state for an abortion.
“Domestic abusers passed laws to empower domestic abusers”
The venn diagram of republicans and domestic abusers are almost a perfect circle! I mean of course, there are some democrats and independents that are domestic abusers too.
You’d risk having them cheer over that.
Of course they are. This was entirely predictable.
Precisely as intended.
We never could have predicted this would happen! /s
Of course they are, that’s the point. What we call “domestic abuse” is also known as “traditional values”.
Yeah, right? We should not give that bullshit that much attention! Just let them rott in the hellscape of their own making and everyone that is cool can come over to Europe and enjoy the sweet healthcare and free education.
Europe also has these people… it’s not something easy to escape geographically. Besides, it’s fucked up to abandon the children and women trapped in there.
Well of course they are, anything and everything they can use to control their victims will be used until we make them give it up.
Yeah and domestic abusers also use abortion itself to control their victims and continue abusing them. Abusers gonna abuse 😞
In the year before Roe fell, roughly 1,230 people told the National Domestic Violence Hotline that they had endured some kind of what anti-domestic abuse activists call “reproductive coercion,” including being denied an abortion or being forced into one. In the year since it was overturned, 2,442 people said the same. That’s a 99-percent increase.
Let’s not pretend that banning abortion just didn’t make any kind of difference.
