… but she is very demanding.

We have a Maine Coon named Lyra. She insists on being heavily involved in everything we do. We should get our girls together, maybe they’ll teach each other to chill. 😄

I’ve never known a cat to be as vocal as she is. Ragdolls are generally quiet (my giant male can only manage a pathetic kitten sized meow) but she is something else.

I would love a Maine coon! I like big cats. We have two rescues as well who are amazing in their own way, but there’s something about the majesty of really big cats that gets me.

Our Lyra is a vocal girl, too. Every little thing engenders a “mrrp.” Drives us crazy sometimes. She’s a very smart cat and I think she’s frustrated she can’t talk like the Big Cats.

We like all cats, but big cats are just big, solid creatures. As the song goes, “I like big cats and I cannot lie.”

    Speaking of furbabies helping:

My step mom has actually trained her and my dad’s dog Bjørk to help out in the garden! When she needs a small hole or some soil loosened, she’ll just point to the spot and Bjørk digs exactly there! Bjørk is a very good girl 🥰
