The link between Christian nationalism and the fascist threat to our democracy is clear.

In as much as one would classify the Nazi’s rise to power in Germany in the 30s and 40s as a civil war.

The last civil war never ended. The rural areas never stopped fighting for their lost cause. The better educated industrialized areas thought they could just ignore it till it went away. But in the meantime they’ve been continuing to rally and slowly taking over. Until here we are with a coup that could have succeeded if only they were slightly more competent. And no one taking it seriously enough and punishing it seriously enough. There will be another.

We aren’t in a war, but we certainly are divided and the situation is primed to break out in violence. Unfortunately, it seems that the ruling class has done a great job of making each team hate the other team, deflecting from where the real hate should be pointed, at the 1%.

Because the US presidential election is a winner-takes-all decision. A third party is mathematically useless. And to become a “winner” the other has to be displayed as “loser”. Division is build-in. I’d suggest you transform into a parliamentarian/multi-party democracy. This basically means a president as a head of state with only ceremonial value and no executive power.

I’m seeing it. I’m also seeing liberals bring their woke fascism when they ban influencers and online content they don’t like. Neither side wants to admit they’re being fascists.

Ask any right wing conservative and they want the same things.

You’re a borderline exhibit for what I stated.
