Emphasis on his threats to children.

  • It’s funny how you can so easily assume what side of the political spectrum the accused convicted man aligns himself with even though it isn’t mentioned in the headline… Curious isn’t it.

Don’t spout your anti-American shit here. Don’t think you’re any better than the election deniers if you do.

Show me the constitutional provision or law that allows us to strip Americans of their birthright and ship them to an extra-judicial torture camp.

I mean, the first amendment allows them to make whatever comment they want about what they believe the punishment should be. You remember the First Amendment, right?

Anyway, 18 U.S. Code § 2381 - says treasonous MF can face the death penalty. I think deportation is a slightly smaller penalty.

“Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.“

Yes it’s anti American to think that people who attempt to influence elections based on threats of violence (terrorism) should be stripped of citizenry and either thrown in prison or deported to some shithole

yeah dudes getting what he should get, well a portion anyway, as an american. he had his day in court and now is facing the consequences. he should have a longer sentence but whatever. theres people in jail for longer for much less.

          • That’s the opposite argument you should be making here. There are people in prison for 40+ years for weed meanwhile actual American terrorists are given minimal sentencing. That should make you fucking livid.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Frederick Francis Goltz, 52, of Lubbock, pleaded guilty earlier this year to interstate threatening communications.

Goltz was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge James Wesley Hendrix, who also ordered three years of supervised release following the prison term.

Trump, a Republican, was indicted on felony charges earlier this week for working to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the run-up to the violent U.S. Capitol riot by his supporters.

Prosecutors say court records show that two days later, Goltz responded to a post about the elections official with the comment, “He’s got a WIFE that is a lawyer, too.

Prosecutors say that an FBI investigation found Goltz had a long history of making threatening statements against a variety of people.

Court records showed that in November 2022, he advocated for “a mass shooting of poll workers and election officials” in precincts he believed had “suspect” results.
