They’re just doing a genocide to help appeal to moderate republicans. If they didn’t do a genocide then trump might win and then he would do a genocide. Sit down and let the adults in the room handle this one sweaty

I love how liberals paint anti-zionism as “privileged white kids complaining about stuff they don’t understand” when it’s mostly POC being against Israel and almost half of the white people in this country support what Israel is doing. Reminds me how veganism in the US is painted as “white liberal hipster who’s picky with food” when in reality it’s mostly low income POC

While this site does enjoy its dunking on white people, I have to say CHUDs can be brutal at eviscerating white people they don’t see as conformist: practically using “white” a term they might have been using to describe a master race two seconds ago as a perjorative to shut up speech that disagrees with them.

At this point, it feels like they want to call me a race traitor but realize even they would look silly if they called me a race traitor over being a vegan.

Chuds use whiteness as a cudgel against white liberals who pretend to care about equality while, at the same time, preaching ideology that protects their privilege.

The worst thing you can do to a white liberal is force them to admit that their ideas are internally inconsistent. That, in order to maintain a belief of equality, they must drop their other beliefs about police, immigration, imperialism, etc.

Chuds are actually more consistent in their beliefs because they take the other (more evil) path, dropping the belief in equality in order to maintain all those other beliefs.

They hate Muslims way more than they hate Jews and a solid half of them think this is a prophesied war that’s going to bring about the apocalypse and they’ll go to heaven because they’re Christian.

Been discussed, but I have serious doubts that even a large plurality of them believe that this will bring about some culmination of scripture. The simpler explanation is that the conflict is viewed as historical colonialism in miniature, and, having no skin in the game in this particular instance, conservatives naturally defend Israel, as it is a parallel defense of racialized Hierarchy that defines their worldview. (Also, relatedly, in the postwar period, Jews are (not without justification) seen as victims of recent history, and because support of them doesn’t question the systems of racialized Hierarchy or Inequality at large, it’s easy for libs and moderates to have come to a pro-Israeli position.)

It’s not so much of a sincere belief but moreso their idea of in-group loyalty. To them, both “its da jooz” and “Israel can do no wrong” can be true so long as it advances their interests, they need not think about the deeper meaning. They’re like good soldiers, they do what they’re told, shoot first, then ask questions later.

Something something redsails article about elites and masses.

Link directly to the PDF with all the poll data (this question is on page 65; I’ve also rendered it to a higher-res PNG which should be more legible than the screenshot)

edit: this caught my eye since it was right above the questions about Israel:

As you may know, Joe Biden recently issued an executive order that partially shuts down asylum processing along the U.S.-Mexico border, allowing U.S. immigration officials to more quickly deport migrants trying to cross the border illegally. Do you approve or disapprove of this action?

Basically 70% approve across the board, including Hispanics. Barely any variance besides with age, but even then the lowest number is 57% for under-30s pain

edit 2: PNG of the polling data about asylum (also added PNG for the other poll and fixed a typo)
