It can be and will always be used as a subject of art, at the very least and unconditionally… The best thing we can do as a collective is try to isolate it in order to make it „learn itself“. Or make it non nonexistent, which will be pretty hard.

    “AI” is already isolated from art because it doesn’t exist.

    But I agree that there’s nothing inherently wrong with running statistics on data. I think the average responses from language models could be useful in many instances. I also enjoy art/images created by tools that steal art and provide various averages.

    As usual, the problem isn’t the tools themselves but how they’re developed and abused under capitalism.

      agreed, even tho I have to admit that by typing „AI“ I meant the thing that we call „AI“, not artificial intelligence itself
