The unmanned craft was due to make a soft landing on the Moon's south pole.

        They weren’t serious. It was a (perhaps bad) joke at their currently failing attempts to reclaim their past glory but instead exposing how years of corruption meant their equipment and arsenals are sorely unmaintained and of poor quality.
