    Did they expect two heavily sanctioned countries to concern themselves with what does and does not violate those sanctions? Nearly every country supporting Russia’s war effort is under heavy sanctions. This is a completely predictable outcome, and anyone with decision-making authority surprised by this is too incompetent for their role.

    I mean, everyone ignores the UN, especially Russia and the US. The UN is a joke, it’s just a supposed moral high card the superpowers wave around when somebody else is doing something they don’t like. Shall we talk about the US ignoring the UN over Gaza?
