- I dont mean this as gatekeeping, but more as just hoping to broaden a horizon. Yes punk and rebellion go hand in hand. But punk is also being one of the unaccepted or marginalized. And embracing, that, others who are in a similar position, if their situation is totally similar, or just puts them in a similar place. And yea, even everyone else who just likes punk or poses, accepting them into the … - Well, you get it. Punk often boils down to tolerance. - I couldn’t totally follow what you’re saying. Is it that being marginalized or tolerant is punk? I would agree only in the sense that embracing those things is an act of rebellion. 
- You don’t need to be unaccepted or marginalized to be punk. - That was my point. You dont need to be anything, even rebellious, to be punk. - I’d debate that. You have to have at least one shared trait amongst the group. What else if not rebellion? Rebellion can manifest in many different ways as well.
