The issue is not that there are no jobs, it’s that the jobs that are available aren’t worth working because of the low pay, no benefits and no opportunity for advancement.
This is a direct result of the erosion of workers rights and neoliberal policy.

These critically missed opportunities also have repercussions for their professional networks and workplace skills.
