i used to wish that enterprise had covered the romulan war instead of the cartoonish xindi arc, but it was only because canon was still a thing at the time and roddenberry had laid out that it was only the movies and tv that counted.
now that canon officially embraces beta canon thanks to the newest generation of series, i wonder what the actual story is with the romulan war since there’s so much contradictory stories in the literary and fanfic work of star trek.
there’s no “actual story” because the people in charge of star trek are hacks who don’t care about anything.
roddenberry was the probably the only who did care and it’s too bad that he completely lost controll back in 1989.
