    I don’t really get what he’s trying to say…

    I assume he is meaning that work is stealing your free time, and that there is no such thing as work vs free time, there is just free time, right?

    Just a weird way to say that. maybe im just dumb.

      He’s also saying that the idea of what “work” actually is has been stolen from us. What they call work is actually toil. Real work should enrich, fulfill, sustain, enhance, and empower us. And it should preferably be self-directed. If you’ve ever poured your time and energy into a personal passion project, you’ve known true work.

      It reads like a trust fund kid’s “tips for success”. Like, “Everyday is a work day if you wanna make real money” kinda bullshit
