    This hint says Laura is innocent. How do I know this from the marked squares?

      D2 - there are 2 criminals in column B.

      B4 - every other column thus has only one criminal

      C5 - out of A1-3 there is one criminal.

      What does that imply about A4?

        But as @SorryImLate@piefed.social already mentioned, the hint does not help regarding Laura. So I feel like the hint is not correct?

          At that point in the game it’s not possible to deduce what Laura’s status is. The only reference I’m seeing to the hint about Laura is @LeFrog@discuss.tchncs.de assumption that it refers to Laura.

        That logic is how I identified Peter too.

        I don’t see why that would make Laura innocent though, which is apparently what the hint is saying.
