Goddamn did I love this book. Can’t find the thread where someone recommended it to someone else anymore, but I really enjoyed it. It was very heartwarming and cozy, as promised. It’s mostly a character exploration and setting travelogue, real slice-of-life about working class people doing a job and living their lives in the meantime. Contains: touchy-feely lizard lady, man in love with computer, Dr. Chef, RETVRN weirdos in space, lobster centaurs, warm feelings, romance, friendship, tragedy
Has a powerful vibe I aspire to in some of my own writing. If you like HHGTG or Star Trek you’ll probably love this shit.
