It’s not fedposting if we’re trying to laud these great heroes or get mental health help for these poor people who are clearly very desperate.

Because ice hiring has zero standards. So imagine how fucked your shit has to be to apply but not get hired.

You’re literally the only people hiring at a living wage with a sign on bonus outside of the police!!

edit: people might think I’m excusing people wanting to work for ice and I’m not, people shouldn’t, but we live in a country where the only avenues for the poor to succeed is often in either the underworld, or as a mercenary for capital as a soldier, or leo.

If they had a juicy enough bonus i’d think a little about signing up, taking the bonus, and seeing what sabotage i could get away with

Same idea I had about policing at one point when I was a teenage babby lefty.

“Yeah, 1312. But I can fix it from the inside and be a cool film noir detective!” <- Clueless

No less like “i could fix them” but maybe i could get paid and just break stuff when nobody is looking, if I’m ever in a position to like, you know, just let people leave if I can. “Sorry boss a bunch of MS-14s showed up and gosh they must have all just gotten away while my body cam was off”

real life reality is Id do maybe one or two cool ish things then get fired or murdered or both lol

The Simple Sabotage Manual exists for a reason. Enough people in even the lowest level positions of the war machine’s war industry or its economic forces, can do a lot of damage by just being intentionally not particularly competent. Don’t be incompetent enough to be fired for cause, but make stupid mistakes. Enough people making enough stupid mistakes grinds a war machine to a halt, one grain of sand in the gearbox at a time. You might not be able to do overt sabotage, but you can absolutely screw things up by accident. Everyone has stupid little accidents at work sometimes. You weren’t thinking. You didn’t have your coffee yet. Everyone has a bad day now and then. No one has to know you’re opposed to the regime, not just clumsy and slow.

          sabotage isn’t fixing.

sabotage can be legit, depending on what you have to do on the way to do it and how much you can get away with or are willing to go down over.

No matter what job you’re doing for a fascist state, there is always an opportunity to sabotage the state and throw sand in the gears. It can be as simple as just sucking at your job on purpose or making a dumb mistake now and then. Failing to maintain your tools in optimal condition. Making typos on paperwork. Putting something together incorrectly. Wasting time with unnecessary meetings and committees.

Working directly for the war machine and doing big acts of sabotage is one way. But so is going to almost any job and doing it really half assed.

50k is quite juicy for many people unfortunately. I wonder how many stipulations are tied to that bonus though.

The 50k is for the most experienced applicants, iirc the pay and bonus is pretty shit for entry level.

Iirc it’s basically delayed over ten years or something insane so you get like 10% of it each year. Barely even a bonus really.

It’s not just them. Almost every sign on bonus I’ve seen has strings like that. Either it’s paid out over 8-12 quarters, or you have to pay it back if your leave/get fired in a year.

200k applicants still might not be enough to reach their goal of 10k new agents by January, unless they relax the requirements even further than they already have.
