Just wondering what you guys think about the game since a lot of people from other games are currently giving it a go

Drive impact is kinda weird to me but I’m having fun learning.

Strive is still my main game though (at least until Tekken 8)

Not yet. I plan to soon but I just don’t feel like spending $60 for a game that just isn’t calling out to me aesthetically. It’s not a bad game, but I just don’t find it exciting. I’ll stick with Strive for now and hop on once it’s on sale or has more characters I think I’d want to play.

Solid idea, my GF actually gifted it to me or I would have done the same. I’m glad I have it cause it’s popular but it does not appeal to me aesthetically either. SF is fun and interesting (for now anyway) but I LOVE guilty gear

Yep, there’s a lot of things to get used to coming over from Strive but it’s pretty fun. I think I still prefer Strive, but I’ve been playing SF6 more since it’s new and it’s just so much easier to get into matches.

I’m thinking of buying it today. I’m a Slayer main at heart in every game, and DeeJay looks like he has a Dandy Step kinda thing

Yeah DeeJay looks really interesting, I haven’t learned him yet but I think you’re right.

If you like most fighting games and can afford it I’d say go for it.

Been playing it a little, but I’m still playing Strive as my primary game.

    Ryu’s pretty fun though

I’ve been loving SF6, but it’s made me realize I underestimated how much I liked having a dash button. Strive kinda spoiled me on that.

I’ve been considering making a video showing how to make a dash button using steam input

obviously not tourney legal but it’s fun and pretty easy to do

I kinda like it but there are a couple of things that don’t vibe with me too much, maybe because Strive was my first fighting game and I’m so used to it. SF6 is pretty much my first SF aswell.

Like that many specials have 4 different modes in light, medium, heavy and EX. That’s both hard to see visually in the heat of combat and also just not very interesting to me? For most speicials I’d prefer just a normal and a EX version and the won space used to just give evryone one more special or Command normal or something.

I also miss Roman Cancels way more than I expected.

Music, Lore and Characters aren’t as great as GG but thats hard I guess. It’s just not oit there enough for me. “Graffiti-Music-Ninja” and “Non-Consentual-Ballet-Mommy” are great but I’m missing shit like “Possessed Bedframe” and “Yu-Gi-Oh Wizard”.

This all sounds pretty negative, but I’m nitpicky here. SF6 is a great game and I’ll play it from time to time. GG is were I’m at home though.

I’m gonna have to agree that the characters in strive are 100x cooler to me and I will likely play strive much longer than sf6 for this reason (Maybe some new char comes out I love but we’ll see.)

I have been enjoying Cammy, who have you been playing?
