      Iirc, there’s a NYT lawsuit against OpenAI where the court ordered them to save prompts and identities.

      Also, I’m sure the real reason is surveillance capitalism. They’ve already said ads are coming.

    Oh I don’t subscribe, I make sure to use up my free prompts with as wide ranging computationally expensive requests as I can think of at the time.
