    I wrote my PhD Thesis with it two years ago and already back then it was a breeze. Compiling a 250 pages document in more or less real time is a game changer and I couldn’t find any major shortcomming over latex appart from some minor bug here and there yet. 10/10 would recommend

    Typst’s biggest weakness is that the ecosystem is still young, so you may not be able to find equivalent packages to those you’ve been using in Latex. But for me, personally, it has been a joy to use

    Looks pretty cool and functional already. I like their principles.

    All of Typst has been designed with three key goals in mind: Power, simplicity, and performance. We think it’s time for a system that matches the power of LaTeX, is easy to learn and use, all while being fast enough to realize instant preview.
