Has anyone seen this video yet? It’s definitely a cool concept, at least in my opinion.
If you haven’t watched it, the basic idea is that since brine can be reused Cody made a jar that is U shaped with two different ends, one end that you feed the fresh veggies into, and the other end you take the pickled vegetables from. That way unlike in a normal jar the oldest stuff doesn’t just sit at the bottom, less likely to be taken out.
I encourage you to watch the video since Cody explains it better than I do.
I don’t like the look of that U-jar at all. It works as proof of concept. Looks to take up a lot of space as well.
I think his intention with the next one is to make it shorter (eliminate the section in the middle) since it doesn’t need to be as long as it is. So the final one will likely take up significantly less space. It also definitely needs to have gentler curves so the veggies can be pushed through easier.
