National and Act will support a New Zealand First member’s bill seeking to define the term “woman” in law.

It would define “woman” in law as “an adult human biological female”, and “man” as “an adult human biological male”.

New Zealand First vowed to fight “cancerous social engineering” and “woke ideology” with the Bill.

Last year New Zealand First quietly withdrew its proposed legislation to fine those who use public bathrooms not for their designated sex.

But Peters suggested his member’s bill defining a “woman” would prevent men using women’s toilets.

Labour and the Green Party confirmed they would vote against the bill.

Green Party Chlöe Swarbrick said it was “despicable, but unfortunately not surprising” that the government was painting a target on the back of a minority.

“Trans people are not the reason that New Zealanders can’t afford their groceries. Trans people are not the reason that New Zealanders cannot afford their power bills. Trans people are not the reason that New Zealanders are experiencing record high unemployment.”

I don’t understand how someone wakes up in the morning and decides this important. Is it a religious thing?

I suspect it’s not a religious thing. I think it’s honestly just that they don’t like certain people. See also the citizenship tests (prove you have our values/culture) and making English an official language (they are scared people who speak other languages might make them change language or something).

It’s just a general intolerance (and I would say fear) of people who are different to themselves.

It would define “woman” in law as “an adult human biological female”, and “man” as “an adult human biological male”.

Biological female and biological male left conveniently undefined because they can’t find a definition that only discriminates exactly the people they emotionally hate.

Using ‘science’ to promote hate has to be one of if not the most anti-human thing anyone can do.

Fuck Peters and the ‘anti-woke’. I want to say much more on the subject, but my two girls are getting ready. for bed. These are kids I want to grow up and be excepted for who ever they are. I don’t want them growing up hating people for just liking someone oe being something slightly different.

Fuck Seymour as well for blowing these dog-wistles just as hard as Peters

I’ve been at concerts where women were using the men’s bathroom because the lines were too long. And no one cared.

Except Winston who was so distraught he tied his penis into a knot and had to have urethra bypass surgery.

I think Chlöe is right. Unfortunately not surprising.

Unfortunately, things will get worse before they get better. Hang tight, support each other, and be kind.

“But this is about the rest of us being able to see things and say things and hold our beliefs, think our thoughts and speak our mind, without having to confect ourselves into these riddles as we’ve been forced to do with ‘pregnant people’ and ‘chest feeding’ and all that rubbish.”

If that actually happened, that’s absolutely ridiculous.

Is there anywhere that people are actually required to say these things?

Required? No - But sometimes, for the sake of inclusion, a healthcare professional might say something like “people with a cervix” for more inclusivity and then people like NZF have to pretend they don’t understand to justify their bigotry.
