    Hasn’t this been out for a while?

    I think wingspan is cool cause you can learn about the real world.

    I would honestly rather see a plant or mushroom version of wingspan.

      The article is about the digital version on Steam… not that it makes that very clear. I’m like 80% sure the author has no idea this is a port of a physical board game. But yeah, the digital version is new. It’s not even released yet.

      Definitely, there is even already the sequel to Wyrmspan out: Finspan, which is again about real world biology, this time fish.

      Yeah I was getting serious dejavu reading this title. Wyrmspan has been out for ages.

      It has been out for at least a year. I think it’s a good marketing play if nothing else. I know a lot of people that wouldn’t play that bird game but would play a dragons game.

        I get it, dragons are cool, but I wish people would take the time to learn more about nature as much as they do imaginary creatures.

        As a kid, I knew more Pokemon than I did birds and looking back on it, it’s sad. I’ve been learning more about birds, insects, trees, plants, and fungi as I get older and it has been like unlocking aspects of the world.

        This is all to say, I think the original wingpsan is a good game, and I hope to see more like it that can teach actual facts.
