I imagine it lives in lore for most like Serbian Film.

Knowing enough not to watch it is better for most people.

As someone who enjoyed horror/graphic movies I fucking hated Serbian Film. Being so pointlessly violent and leaning into shock value was offensive in itself. Actually was so annoyed I had wasted my time with it. Like every choice in the movie was some edgelord thinking “ok what’s the most fucked up thing I could do now”. Just wanted all the shock factor with 0 effort into making any sense. The directors reasoning of “something something how the government treats civilians” confirmed my disdain of it. As someone who’s watched a lot of graphic trash it was an unfamiliar reaction to a movie of that nature.

I agree with this and Serbian film being way too much. I did however like Irreversible, Enter the Void, The Antichrist, and Melancholia. I’ve heard the average person can’t take those either, so it certainly depends on your personal limits.
