you know, people can just… leave america, for somewhere else.

its a sinking ship anyways and you see the little libs sticking to they’re party thinking that voting is important by default and willfully ignoring there issue inherent to your country. its not a political group worth defending and the republicans are mental, our nations really haven’t given a shit about many of us so id say leaving is fairly justified. hope you can bail.

We wouldn’t have to leave if people would just vote against the obvious fascists.
Voting is the absolutle minimum, and 60% of eligible voters don’t even bother.

I certainly cannot afford to just… leave America, and that’s the case for the majority of US citizens. Given how immigrants are unpopular everywhere, there are few places that are ready to take Americans as refugees.

I guess that a sizable chunk of Americans wouldn’t fit the quite narrow definition of refugee.

Moreover, European countries have been borrowing Trump’s rhetoric of “they’re not sending their best”.

I’m in Nova Scotia and my partner and I are trying to get my transgender girlfriend out of the States and it’s a lot harder than just leaving. We both fear for her safety and she does as well since she lives in Ohio. Even with Canada having refugee status for trans people it’s not as easy as “just leaving”.
