Ugh, that’s fucking nasty shit…I just bought six months of service, after that I might not bother with Mullvad VPN or Browser. Daniel Berntsson is a piece of shit for entertaining such shitty ideas, how very white nationalist of him. Perhaps if the USA and other big nation’s destabilization efforts can be disrupted in other places in the world. Perhaps people wouldn’t have to flee desperate and terrible situations! How about instead donating to an organization that heals the rifts caused by such tampering? Helping nations/regions recover from long term upheaval, using education to uplift, and funding rebuilding.

One nation shouldn’t have to bear the entire burden, it should be spread as best as can be; but people need to be able to seek safety until their homes are safe once more. So they can return, rebuild, and feel safe again (if they wish to do so). Given the amount of conflict happening right now…And the major nations hostile to immigrants and refugees, it’s hard to feel safe again.

Gosh darn it I like and use Mullvad. Here is a translation of the article:

Daniel Berntsson, founder of the IT company Mullvad, is behind a massive donation to the populist Örebro Party, which advocates for “extensive remigration” from Sweden. “It’s sad that it’s necessary,” he tells Flamman. Five million Swedish kronor. That’s how much the populist Örebro Party received during 2025—from a single person. This is according to the party’s income statement, which Flamman has reviewed.

The person behind the massive donation is Daniel Berntsson, founder and co-owner of the internationally successful IT company Mullvad.

“This is a donation from me personally,” he writes in an email to Flamman.

The company has seen large profits in recent years through the sale of so-called VPN services, which make it possible to browse anonymously. In 2024, the company had a turnover of 314 million kronor.

The five million from Berntsson makes up the majority—a full 72 percent—of the Örebro Party’s income last year. It is also the largest single private donation to a political party in 2025.

My ideal is freedom of movement, but really bad crime, immigration, and integration policies (among other things) have put us in today’s miserable situation. The money also appears to have been the triggering factor for the party’s announcement that they will run in the general election.

Oh I actually read the article, it’s to Örebropartiet and it’s from the founder… Still bad, but not as insane (just a couple degrees though)
