Madagascar and New Zealand being white just blew my mind, after I checked that it is actually the true.
New Zealand was first settled some time during the high and late middle ages, and Madagascar between the years 500 and 700.
Crazy considering that the cradle of humanity in Eastern Africa is not that far off…Yep, NZ was the last place to be settled by humans. Polynesians only reached it about 1250AD. So a thousand years after this map!
Polynesians had reached South America and come back with kumara (sweet potato) before reaching NZ.
Am I the only one bothered when ‘scientific’ posts use biblical dating(BC/AD) instead of scientific(BCE/CE)?

After reading the credentials of the source you presented (Wikipedia username with no link to an actual person or study where I can check actual credentials, so none), this map is pretty questionable. It decided to delete all my people.
