I still don’t see the appeal of country flags (unless specifically to support) and the usual gaming/IT symbols. Also, as much as I dutifully like the Maus, Ente and Elefant, they are big as fuck. This thing used to be chaotic anarchy out of which art (ugly and beautiful alike) grew organically, it’s now very much German efficiency.
But I can’t participate this year anyway beyond maybe a few pixels here and there, so I’m not too bothered.

I’m not aware of any Ukraine protest that happened today in my area. Can you point me to it? Btw: in canvas, the Ukraine flag was done even earlier.
Also, I see no need for a protest because my country is very welcoming for Ukrainian refugees, which is a good thing. Except that defectors are send back to die at the front. Also Russian defectors are not welcomed because they are suspected to be spies. So what exactly is the topic and the demands of the protest you want me to go to?
Why not both? Also in the ukraine war the US and most major powers are not on the side of the aggressor.
