    I love how project 2025 was used as a cudgel against anyone who had objections to Kamala

    “You better vote for her or you’ll be facing Project 2025!”

    Or

    “You were warned about project 2025, so you deserve the consequences”

    And yet, the entire Senate voted to confirm some of the most deranged pieces of shit in American history (and that’s a high fucking bar). They voted for the pieces of shit who would actually carry out project 2025 as well as many other international travesties. Republicans managed to hold a fucking supreme court nomination for months during the Obama Presidency, but the opposition party to fascism didn’t stall Project 2025 at all.

    As Ken Klippenstein often says, you don’t hate congress enough

      These unanimous votes are usually done verbally without formal voting, they just usually say it’s unanimous cause no one objected.

      Still not right though

          I believe the original intention was to quickly pass trivial bills quickly…

          But at my university many years ago we had live polling, I can’t see why they can’t do the same thing nowadays
