huh? a pandemic? i need to stay at home and wear a mask in public? this is infringing upon my rights!!! this is violating my freedom to go to mcdonalds!!! i will roll over you in my oversized air conditioned monster pickup for this!!!"

Tough men don’t tend to brag about their toughness and use it put down others. If you’re so insecure that you make posts like this you’re not nearly as tough as you think you are.

    This has fucking levels damn

1 chopping block with axe but no firewood being chopped for log cabin that, by the smoke already had a fire going

2 hammering generator, randomly sitting in a field next to a cabin with no power hookups

3 lit lanturn in the day time

4 building log tent thing when there is a cabin there

I’m sure I missed some, these are becoming like the spot the differences things they print in the newspaper but the difference is between reality and the fever dream of a man with a beard fetish

      1. chopped so hard they went flying. Always need more hard, hard, hot wood to stay warm at night when the blanket is on the floor.

      2. it’s hard to focus when you’re the youngest, on your knees, next to your bros who are working hard to take care of you.

      3. cozy.

      4. hello? Have you no joy or whimsy? It’s okay to have fun with your roommates bros and create forts to cuddle together in.

Let’s be real, the most capable and resourceful person in that scenario is going to be a 45 year old single mother who’s had to deal with the wiring in a shitty apartment

Three dudes that all have and love the same body type, clothing, style, hairstyle, and beardstyle… Living alone and surviving together, secluded in the woods in a VERY small, cozy cabin.

    Huh.

“Y’all are just weak. Nobody likes or needs pussies, only hard, hairy men.”

The really sad thing is that there’s almost something to this. There are practical everyday skills that would be useful in an emergency.

The problem is that these doinks have decided that being an asshole or misogynist has anything to do with felling a tree or making a fucking cottage. No one thinks fixing a car is Toxic Masculinity dipshits. You’re not Toxic because you can pour concrete, you’re Toxic because you put your hand up the waitress’s skirt, and that has nothing to do with God damn concrete.

You wanna be strong and supportive, how about being strong and supportive 365 days of the year when there isn’t a zombie apocalypse or natural disaster, rather than fantasizing about one day being able to wield your skills as leverage to coerce people into having to put up with your bullshit.

Get fucked, I don’t want to live in the compound you’ve decided you’re king of, I’d rather feed the local wolves.

Tough, calloused men who don’t know how to wash their ass or engage in mutualist relationships with their broader community. These lone wolves will die of ass infections out in the woods watching the glowing lights of the solar-powered commune. Dying of malnutrition because eating vegetables is gay.

Calloused != callous so I don’t really expect them to be able to understand toxic masculinity is not required for being handy 🤷‍♀️

Also I’m staying the fuck away from angry power fantasy men during emergencies thanks.

I’m sorry Kyle, beating a diesel generator with a hammer is not going to help much with fixing the power grid. Also, you’re holding that hammer wrong.

To be fair, linemen (the high voltage guys who fix the grid) are usually tough as nails. These guys look like their dad worked in construction.
