Yeah! It’s a caudiciform - that’s called the caudex. The leaves and all the green can die away and resprout from there

It stores water like a cactus. There’s so many different types and they’re very cool.

Stephania erecta. I’m a bigger fan of the Stephania Suberosa but I can’t find a picture that does it justice.
