I’ve been using a 1st gen Surface Duo for a while and I really like the dual screen layout, so I’m glad other companies are keeping this form factor alive. I use mine as more of a tablet replacement than a phone replacement, so I hope they start making some that are more affordable in the future.

I can’t help but feel like foldable phones have such a small niche market that they won’t be around for long. Current sales numbers don’t back up my feelings, though, but we will see what happens.

You know the sad think is that I think they have lots of potential and I would totally get one but I do NOT trust the current materials and companies that these are made from. I would like to double my screen size and split screen different apps or watch a show in a wider, more “full” format, yet these phones are plagued with screen/joint issues. Pair this with rediculous prices and that’s a BIG nope from me.

I have a Samsung flip and it’s so convenient to have a phone that doesn’t fall out of the shallow pockets of women’s pants. I know that this phone is probably going to last less long over all, but I’ve had it for over a year and this is the longest I’ve ever had a phone with no damage.

This guy does great reviews, I feel like he’s pretty bang on with his criticisms in general. There’s no way I’m spending anything over €700 on a phone though tbh, so I’m definitely not the target demo.
