Died twice in 24 hours after update. DO NOT UPDATE
What is going on over at Apple?
Sounds like lots of people are late to work this morning lol.
I literally just got done installing… I’m gonna cry 😭
Thanks a lot, I’ll stay away from this update for now.
This seemed to help me, I found if you double click the crown it now has the multitasking function like the iPhone. I had loads open and when I closed them all the battery seemed fine. Hope this helps
Happened on my series 6 few months ago. The battery was lasting only 8-9 hours. I was thinking that the battery was shot (around 700 cycles and 4 years of life), but after 2 weeks the battery life came back to normal. Really strange. Now it’s holding up well.
I was at around 40% at night, and I tapped the update button. I was too lazy to go all the way to the charger and stay up to update, so I thought F it, I’ll do it tomorrow.
Turns out, the watch updated itself at night, at 40%, without being connected. I found it hella weird when I woke up to an almost discharged (3%) but updated watch.
And the battery life has been shit ever since.
I just returned a series 9 due to rapid battery drain. in fact, it happened in front of them when we unpaired. It went from like 50% to dead by unpairing.
Apple Watch SE 2020 here, after 10.0.1 workout app drained the battery during my marathon at about 3 hours in. Last year it lasted at least 6 hours. I didn’t get any split times recorded on the biggest day of my running year.
I have an S9 watch and it’s draining the battery very fast. Fully charged at 7pm, now at 8:15pm, it’s 75% charged. I’m not exercising or anything like that, just sitting around the house. Before this update the battery lasted a long time
I’ve got a cellular S4 that crashed then went to 10% when it would normally be around 45-50% today after installing the update last night
Happened to my friends Apple Watch too. Happily, haven’t DL’d 10.1 on my watch yet. What app do you reckon is draining it the most?
Wow this is really bad. I did the update this morning. It was on the charger the whole time and completely charged when it finished. That was 2 hours ago and now it’s down to 75%. Edit: S8
My watch was charged to 97% a couple of hours ago and I just got notified that it’s at 10%. I rely on overnight oxygen tracking, this is horrible.
