M1 Mini please, there’s no need for a refresh if it’s not a silicon chip
A better screen with an A15/16 with 128gb standard.
Whatever it is, my wallet’s been ready 😤
Perhaps we will get a new iPad Mini tomorrow after all. 🤞
It’s not coming.
M3 Max iPad Mini here we go!
It’s because I got one in July for Prime Day :(
In a perfect world this iPad Mini gets a M2 and a 120Hz display but it’s better to start dreaming about that in >2026.
Why do people seem to think the mini is going to get the guts from a pro? It’s already a niche device.
I bought a refurb mini 6 for 440, from Target… but if a mini 7 is announced, I’m returning that sucker.
iPad Mini with M3
There’s really no need for a refresh if there’s no M chip, so here’s hoping
Perfection
Maybe no iPad Air means either 1) Apple doesn’t want to announce an M2-based product in an M3 announcement event, or 2) Next iPad Air will have M3 and be announced early next year.
No magic mouse? My current one is acting weird.
Backlit magic keyboard please with usbc
backlit aint a thing for magic keyboard?
Honestly I see no way that I would go back from a proper mech one to a magic keyboard, touchid or not. Keychron (and plenty other vendors) have proper Mac keyboards, their customization and comfort are clearly above typing my password a few times a day.
This. Tried an Apple keyboard in-store the other week. It’s a hard pass from me.
And I just use the Apple Watch to skip the whole password-typing thing.
mechanical keyboard with hhkb layout would be a wet dream going back to the m0110 days
Yes. The worst thing about that keyboard is the lack of backlighting. For that price it should absolutely have it.
Usbc port on the bottom.
Have you looked at or tried the satechi Bluetooth keyboard? It’s made for mac, has usb c, and backlight with adjustable brightness. I got one a few years ago and love it. Cheaper than apple too!
Most Mac users here are zealots and want to go all in on Apple. There’s people who genuinely love the magic mouse and you won’t be able to change their mind despite so many better third party alternatives existing
No Touch ID == no sale. I really wish they’re out it on the trackpad so people had options
I’ve been using a first gen Magic Mouse for 13 years without issues. Sucks about batteries but it still works great. Comfortable too.
Lol, I’m one of those weirdos who loves his magic mouse.
Here’s the thing. I will happily buy non-Apple products (small example, I have a Sonos speaker instead of a HomePod).
Furthermore, I have zero issue acknowledging that the charging port on the bottom of the mouse is a fatal flaw, and the design isn’t particularly ergonomic either.
So why the hell do I like this thing? I like the way it feels in the hand and, critically for me, it’s the most satisfying clicking experience I have ever had.
Additionally, gesture support, my preference for unibody (vs. split or roller wheel or side-buttons) and not hating how it looks either = why I use this thing.
But I do see its flaws.
I’m probably the only one hoping for AirPods Max 2 🥲
Would seem unlikely if they send pair of the OGs to a bunch of influencers for the event. Maybe we get a nice software update.
Just buy the current ones unless you are holding out for usb-c, they really are awesome and I have no reason to upgrade.
Praying for the 120hz display on Ipad Mini.
I would get that thing immediately and sell my 6.
