Never heard of this guy before. I know my way around cameras, and I know colour correcting basics. He gives a just-basic-enough description to what’s going on, but is still in-depth enough to inform prosumers and even some pros.

This is the main feature that’s tempting me to upgrade to a 15 Pro (from a 14 Pro).

But I think I’ll hold out for the year and just use my GF’s Pro Max to shoot video.

I’m really excited about the 16 pro since there wasn’t mich about the camera system that changed this year. Hoping for a real leap with the sensors next year.

Same here, and hopefully more of the lenses will get the 48MP. It would also be cool if they manage to fit the 5X lens in the standard Pro next year.

In my experience Apple tends to struggle with optimising the processing on new generation of camera hardwares. This is why the 14 Pro often looked worse than the 13 Pro. That’s why I generally like to wait for the second iteration of camera hardware with Apple but that’s just my 2 cents.

Wish Apple would just release a camera in the iPhones body at this point. If they just sold a super thin camera but that had some bigger protruding lens for better bokeh/night stuff I’d snag it in a second. Having something like a $2k camera with one/two lens and tons of zoom options that slides in my pocket? Sign me up, you’d probably see so much stuff being shot on iPhones at that point, would be great marketing. The LOG is amazing and very welcome, but still not perfect for every shot yet.
