    Bomb the manger on Christmas…

Is isreal really that oblivious to world opinion and how it might affect them? Seems that way…

They’re not oblivious, they just don’t care because they know there won’t be any consequences. And those few who dare to say anything are “antisemite” for not supporting genocide.

They’re the narcissist grandma of international politics: hiding in plain sight, they can get away with anything and everyone else will make excuses for their bad behavior

Realistically, who is going to interfere? US and Russia are tied up in Ukraine, China and EU want to stay out, Modi’s India supports Israel. World opinion could get much worse and nothing would happen, Yemen being the only exception so far.

You do realize Christmas is not a holiday there? Do you think USA made ceasefire on Ramadan? Same thing. It’s Muslims and Jews there, some Christians, but most of them live in Israel not Gaza because Hamas abused them so much.

You do realise that’s not what the person above said. What the people actually worship in Bethlehem itself means Jack shit to the opinion of the wider world that Bethlehem, the birthplace of the saviour of the Wests biggest religion, was attacked by Israeli forces on the date celebrated as his birthday.

That’s like saying that the US military would honor a ceasefire on the Vietnamese holiday, “Tet” during the Vietnam War. Oh wait, we did (until they broke it with the Tet Offensive)
