Hey! Just for fact’s sake - not trying to minimize Israel attacking Bethlehem on Christmas - the article doesn’t mention any bombing of Bethlehem, it was a harassing raid by ground forces that arrested a few people as part of an intimidation campaign against the west bank.
Regions in and near Nablus, Jericho, Ramallah and Bethlehem – which Christians believe is the birthplace of Jesus Christ – were also raided overnight by Israeli forces, Al Jazeera’s Hamdah Salhut reported.
Obviously that’s still vile and again shows how close the army and illegal settlers are. But a raid rather than bombing.
You are right. Within the past few months, Israel has bombed some areas in the West Bank, but Bethlehem is currently not one of them.
