Most individuals, sure. There’s an argument to be made that Taft royally screwed the 20th century by not conceding the primary to Teddy. If he had stepped aside, Wilson cannot win the presidency. Without Wilson keeping us out of WWI, Teddy likely gets Congress to declare war after the sinking of The Lucitania. That gets us into the war quickly enough that Russia doesn’t pull out. Sure the Tsar is still gonna get overthrown, but the interim government won’t be, as they just helped win the war, and so Russia is at the table when Armisice Day (or the equivalent) happens. That prevents Russia from losing territory. Here’s where it gets interesting. Without the purge of the interim government, the Bolsheviks don’t have the momentum to purge the Menchaviks, making communism more moderate and preventing Lenin, and therefore Stalin from rising to power. Without Stalin yelling that he intended to kill all non-communists, Germany probably doesn’t go full fascist. In fact the European theater of WWII might just not have happened. Sure the baltics are still a thing, and the Pacific still exists, and we probably still would have cut Japan’s oil supply, but we wouldn’t have been distracted in Europe.
It’s entirely possible that without Wilson, the US wouldn’t have ever gained the superpower status we got after WWII.

While that is all true, I didn’t think the previous commenter would find many stories titled “ameoba saves man,” or the like.

I would say Project Zomboid, but I think they’ve been working on that for more than a decade.
Vintage Story definitely has good survival elements, and shivers are straight horror, so Vintage Story?

Animals are altruistic. Just search for _____ saves person. You will find lots of instances of animals saving humans. Not just dogs and cats either. Ravens, crows, pigeons, elephants dolphins, beluga, and humpbacks are all well documented displaying protective behaviors when predators are around humans that they know.
Y’all need more wizards around that used permanency more often. I’ll pay another wizard the guild fee for them to give me a permanent detect magic, detect traps, and comprehend languages for the early game.
Well it’s tiny! 9.8 × 8.4 × 5.6 km. It doesn’t have enough mass to be spherical. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if most of the moons of Saturn and Jupiter are weirdly shaped.
Just take a look at the moons of Mars, they are both just big rocks.
The target human seems a bit small to me, but I am 193 cm. Neat site!
Edit: at first I thought that Archaeopteryx wasn’t displaying. Then I switched the Triceratops to a Velociraptor. Had no clue that Archaeopteryx was that tiny! He’s an adorable little bird.
Is that genuine naive love for the US or mockery? As an American it’s difficult to tell.
Wall Gator looks like he’s doing less damage than Niel The Seal from Tasmania.
Sharks are also older than walls, but cannot traverse them. This is why you jump sharks, rather than walk them.
Horse meat is illegal in the US.

That was more because of radio being the main form of entertainment, not TV, and something that’s called “decorum,”

I guess my diagnosis is just republican propaganda then.

They name the conditions by how they affect normal people, not how the conditions affect us.
Admittedly, I literally told off a priest and a cop at completely different times in the same day, when I was 5…
#KillRacingNotHorses
California alone has already had 20+ horse deaths this year at only 3 tracks. No legitimate sport would accept the deaths of their athletes on a routine and consistent schedule, as just a fact of life.
TIL. Apparently the farmers in my parents area are a bit more picky. They made hay for the horses, and silage for the cows. The pigs get slop, grain, and any bio-trash that’s available.
Oh yeah, I forgot that silage bunkers exist. Again not used in the area I grew up in. I don’t know why. I don’t use them in Farming Simulator, because they are buggy as shit, and the bales and silos aren’t.
Edit: also, 2500 TONS‽‽ are you Australian? That must be an absolutely enormous farm.
Hay ≠ silage. Hay is tedded and dried grass/straw. Hay is normally baled, but you can just throw it in a pile. Silage is grass that has been fermented to make it easier for cows to digest. Silage must be baled and wrapped, or stored in a silage silo so that it can ferment.
I grew up in farm country surrounded by pigs, horses, cows, and an absolute FUCKTON of tobacco, corn, and soybeans. Also a fair amount of weed if you knew which cornfields to go into.

Have you ever been checked for Oppositional Defiance Disorder? Because as someone who has it, you just described it to a T.
They’re referring to a specific user, though that movie title isn’t too far off of their username.
