The other half of this is also that 46% of the employees probably already live within a reasonable distance of the workplace and don’t feel unreasonably put out by traveling in.
It’s the employees at less reasonable distances that get the most upset by these RTO policies. I would wager that you could heatmap agreement/disagreement with the policy based on distance from the workplace.
The average annual earnings in China is $16,300
If you normalise this against the US which is $47,960
This is roughly 3x
So multiply the price of that beer by 3 and I think you have a fair rough comparison. Any beer that costs 2 dollars for 1.5L? Probably not.
China’s grocery basket is cheaper than the US.
keep blinds shut/windows locked. Doors too. I dont want to seem callous or flippant but have you had any breakups recently that went south? Any hookups that maybe went bad? Any negative interactions w strangers recently? Stalkers?
No there’s no possibilities like that.
The only other possibility that’s running through my mind is that it’s police scoping out a polytunnel we have. It’s possible that someone has told the police we’re growing weed, but it’s actually full of palm trees I’ve been growing for several years now.
Depending upon your location, it may be against rules laid out by whatever agency has authority over flights/flying in the country you live in.
It’s UK, I have no idea what the laws are tbh.
Bird netting or fishing line strung back n forth might foul up a rotor.
This is actually pretty viable, maybe some fishing line run from ground to nearby trees. Wouldn’t interfere with anything on the ground for people using the area but if you tried to fly something in there it would catch on something.
Yeah it was that close to the building at least
How big a drone? If it’s over 250g it has remote id and you can get its info using an app on your phone. Smaller drones don’t require it though.
Sorry, how do you get their info?
I don’t know the weight just by sound, it was night so I didn’t get a good look at it. I have cameras for security and early warning but they’re all covering paths on the ground, I’ve moved some around though to get a view that covers the air too so if it comes back again I’ll have footage.
Depending on the state, this could be a perfectly legal recreational drone flight. A lot of state laws really haven’t caught up with drone technology. See your local laws here https://www.findlaw.com/consumer/consumer-transactions/drone-laws-by-state.html
Ahh, problem. This is the UK.
i’d like to be able to stop an fpv drone from coming into my garden at all
Why yes officer please come in, I’ve been expecting you.
It’s got no chance getting inside. I’m just more concerned about why it scoped the place out. There’s a bunch of possibilities ranging from cops to fash to random burglars.
Chief of General Staff Gerasimov through TASS has confirmed the presence of DPRK fighters in some capacity:
Gerasimov also commended the role of North Korean fighters in the liberation of the Kursk Region.
“I want specially to note the participation of servicemen of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in liberating border areas of the Kursk Region who in accordance with the Treaty on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between our countries rendered considerable assistance in crushing the Ukrainian army’s combat group that had launched an incursion,” Gerasimov said.
As Russia’s military chief pointed out, “soldiers and officers of the Korean People’s Army were accomplishing combat objectives shoulder to shoulder with Russian servicemen and in the process of repelling the Ukrainian incursion showed high professionalism and displayed endurance, courage and heroism in combat.”
China avoided getting attacked like the USSR because of the USSR. The US was focused on it and China was viewed as a useful tool to split communists and harm the USSR. The sino-soviet split helped China survive at the expense of the USSR.
After the fall of the USSR it was Deng’s reforms that continued to keep China alive. The capitalists thought they would end China in the longterm and they couldn’t resist the vast wealth they could make from investing into this growth market of 1billion+ people. This incentive continues to be the reason China is not simply isolated on trade, there are thousands of capitalists making too much money from China and they do not support going against China as it would hurt their income.
I seriously a culture of ad destruction should be created.
There are millions of people with anticapitalist leanings now. Yeah they might not be full blown communists but they’re against this shit enough to take small actions they know they won’t be caught for. Get millions of people actively destroying ads whenever they have the opportunity to and it’ll form a small stepping stone to doing more radical things.
It is now being said that a previously unknown militant group called “Kashmir Resistance” have claimed responsibility.
Pakistan does but if they’re claiming no ties to this “Kashmir Resistance” group then it’s India vs local resistance group. India claims they have cross border ties, so whether or not it becomes an issue with Pakistan will be determined by how upset they get with them having resistance group members on their side of the border.
Helps that it’s not a fake persona, it’s just a real addiction to partying and binge drinking. There’s an authenticity to it, nobody is pretending to be a heavy drinker they just are.
With DPRK as a global pariah it actually makes more sense as a potential source of exporting revolution than China does, because of how much China has to lose and how incompatible that is with their strategy of supporting sovereignty in order to gain friends and partners against the US.
The occupation of Korea needs to end first of course, but I have this sort of fantasy that they would start supporting socialists abroad after resolving affairs on the peninsula.
The entire just got wrecked by this comment.
The candidate looked like a real life version of
surrounded by a squad of latina cheerleaders all dancing around him while wearing pants suits.
This is the funniest thing you’ve written since “piss”
The song is fine but I don’t really like the trend of song topic being so in your face. I prefer I dunno… Artistic lyricism? Poetry in lyrics? “Anxiety anxie-ty anxiety is getting me” doesn’t do it for me. It’s catchy though.
With that said I hate the video and it seems like there’s a significant trend of bourgeois aesthetics in american music. It’s liberal upper middle class coded.
lmao this page is funny
