3 months agoThere are way too many traffic deaths already, adding stupidly big US trucks on european roads is really not going to help. An “arms race” for who has the biggest vehicle on the road just makes it worse for everyone, without even mentioning the environmental impact.
Some actors (I think Threema and a few others) already announced that if this goes through, they will launch a referendum, which I think has a good chance of finding enough signatures to succeed. So then the whole population would vote on it, and the result there is a bit harder to guess. But that still means there is hope.
