Carbon-neutral my fucking ass.
My first partner was adopted from China as a baby, so she looked Chinese but culturally she was 100% Canadian, raised in a very meat & potatoes kind of family.
My mom is a bit of a hippy, so she loved cooking stuff from all different cuisines and we’d regularly use chopsticks at home if eating Asian foods.
We went to a Chinese place together once and the staff were howling with laughter at the white kid using chopsticks opposite the Asian woman with a knife and fork. She learned how to use chopsticks shortly after, haha.

I’m quite partial to Lil Jon’s All I Really Want For Christmas, featuring the Kool-Aid Man.
Yes, the Kool-Aid Man.
I’d assume it’s the same as any other watermark; to mark content as being made/owned by the entity associated with the logo.

Too bad most Canadians are fucking idiots and didn’t realize or understand that 80% of households benefitted from the Carbon Tax, receiving more than what they paid in the first place.
We just decided to kick the environment in the groin and take money away from the poorest Canadians. And somehow the oil companies and media oligarchies framed this as a win for the “working and middle classes”.

I remember seeing this while playing the silly Mario Kart map in TF2.

The phone to Bluetooth/cassette adapter to cassette/8-track adapter to 8-track is crazy and I really hope someone is actually rocking that in an old car with an 8-track player.

My highschool geography/criminology teacher. He’d routinely make us discuss current events in class, and really make us analyse the points we brought up. It really helped guide me into making my own opinions rather than just accepting things at face value.
Shout-out to great teachers. Thanks Mr. Robin!

The testing elements in Portal 2’s maps are technically Turing-complete, and people have made very simple “computers” with them. Here’s a video from 2012 of someone building logic gates.
There’s also VScript which PortalRunner on YouTube used to port an NES emulator and make a web server. Their channel is really good if you like this type of silly hacky fun.

No one pronounces “JPEG” with a ph sound, though.

Fun fact! The word milk has been used for plant-based liquids and saps since at least the 14th century.
Die away upon your hill, but historical and popular usage disagree with you :P

Tomatoes, cabbage, and onions, that’s a lot of vegetables in one meal! Are you one of them woke f*gs?

The amount of people worried about my nutrition as a vegan but who wouldn’t bat an eye at someone eating McDonald’s every day…

Unless I absolutely have to for logistical reasons, I refuse to talk about me being a vegan to others.
It typically results in a debate in which I have no desire to participate. I’ve had the same conversations with people over and over again in my 9 years being vegan. I always either have to censor my opinions, or I end up upsetting someone when I say I think this thing they’re doing is morally wrong.
People rarely engage the topic with genuine curiosity, they usually just want me to assuage their cognitive dissonance and tell them “oh the way you eat animals is totally acceptable!”
I do wonder what the Corsican’s name is in French given that boneywasawarroirwayayix is very English (language and culture) specific.
His original French name is Ocatarinetabellatchitchix, which is a reference to a song by Tino Rossi (who has Corse ancestry).

That’s really cool and all, but even if I give myself permission I don’t have the savings from a 6-figure salary to survive while doing something like this.

Drake John Eric Guitard Metallic
That’s quite the name.
Well, no one ever needs computers either.
