Thank you! What do you mean by ice mod? Did I have a typo or something? I’ll get you added.

A truly enlightened otter enjoying the delights of stick!
They did some testing with it, but I don’t think it is fully qualified.
They’re the only planes that can carry the biggest bunker buster massive ordinance penetrator.

I have no idea. But maybe the gravitational location would appear to asymptotically approach the event horizon similar to how light from an object would appear to just approach the horizon and then stay there.
Are you thinking of a particular source? I couldn’t find substantiation for $45/h.
You’ve got it backwards, median takes into account income gap better. Mean would be much higher today because of the increasing income gap. That is why I used the median, so that interesting inequality would be less of a factor.
You have your profile set to public? Why not just share with your friends?
In 2023 median hourly wage was $19.24/h, vs in 1979 it was $4.44/h or $19.56/h inflation adjusted. (This data doesn’t go back to 1965 unfortunately)

Federal minimum wage in 1965 was $1.25/h, which is $12.69/h today. Looks like Alaska had the highest state minimum at $2.10, $21.32 today. Or were you taking more average rather than minimum wage?

They’re just built with 1 by X bricks. But I kinda like that, it’s not replacing anything a person would design. I think I’d prefer a program that would take a 3d model as in input instead of a text prompt, but both are cool.

I wonder if this’d be the same as a map of drive times to a hospital. I guess this version more highlights the outliers?
Doing anything fun today?

Vtol just includes vertical takeoff and landing, which helicopters do. The motors for eVTOL can be smaller than engines, so maybe you save some weight avoiding the collective? The tail rotor is also just loss, so I would think 2 rotor would be the most efficient. But I think these companies go with more for additional residency?

Larger rotor is more efficient. Agree on the hard to control, but that’s moot if you have a pilot, since they’ll need to be qualified to rotary wing. If you don’t have a pilot, then you’ll need to change the regulations significantly. I think that’s what they’re betting on, but it’s not a given my any means.
Do you think you can have effective communism with only self interested parties? That was my take away from your comment, that you can get communism as a logical extension of greedy motives?
When someone says capitalism is human nature, I don’t think they mean that industrial automation allowing unskilled workers is human nature. So they’re using a different meaning of capitalism. To address their concern, you would show counter examples of large groups of people working together for a common good rather than their own enrichment. Rather than just saying they’re using the word wrong.
Why will oxygen levels go up? If anything, I’d think more oxygen being tied up in CO2 would cause O2 levels to go down.
Congrats, your a mod. Sorry I dropped off for a month
