I think marrying cousin’s isn’t something that should be done in general, but I also don’t think there should be a law about it.

good. That shit should be banned anyway. Obviously weed should just be legalized, but those types of products aren’t regulated at all.

Glad the courts are sometimes still on the side of sanity. Though i’m sure some “concerned citizens” will be challenging the ruling in whatever way they are allowed to.
The laws only matter in as much as the company wants to make money. Otherwise yea, no company or individual has any moral or legal obligation to abide by any law and that government has no (legal) way to enforce laws on anyone outside of their jurisdiction. Ultimately companies are voluntarily abiding by laws because they do not care about anything except making money.

Hell yea.
I don’t know, but I when I travel long distances for vacations and things like I try to take a train if it’s available.

That’s not why these datacenters are here. The various big cloud providers (AWS/Oracle/Microsoft/Google) are perfectly able to build datacenters in the US and they do! However with the downfall of US Hegemony and the distrust that has been growing and finally come to a head with the current administration, non-US industries have been demanding “sovereign” clouds where their customer data and compute etc, doesn’t live in the US and so is more resistant to US warrants and sanctions. The cloud providers want these large, rich customers (petro states), and are more then happy to build datacenters outside of US Jurisdiction. The money still flows back to the US shareholders so they don’t give a shit where the physical assets are actually located.
That said Iran blowing these things up is one of the most meaningful things it can do to resist the US and eventually force a retreat.

I’m so glad I quit facebook before any of the other services came out that apparently people “can’t live without”, and I’m perfectly content living in ignorance.
Did the Palestinian escape, or was it a suicide mission? Obviously desperation will lead to self-sacrifice, but guerrilla warfare is more effective if the perpetrators aren’t caught.

Is this going to be one of those things where as long as the garments are “unfinished” they can still be destroyed and of course they are “unfinished” if they don’t have the price tag clipped on them yet?

Safe spaces for queer people existed before social media and before the average politician new what the internet was.

Only amongst people who don’t understand it. Though I admit many self-identified leftwing people, especially in the US, think “I’m a liberal” means “i’m a good person.”

Proud to have made the list.
But what good is this power if you cannot wield it?

Austin still has a lot of pedestrian friendly areas, mostly between downtown and the UT campus but all the new developments are absolutely car-centric. It sucks.

I wish we had more socialist parties on the ballot in more places and also a better voting system then first past the post.

Linus is Liberal as a pejorative.

Antisemitism/Antizionism love that subtle rhetorical trick to group two things that aren’t related.
Anyway death to Israel.
Has this been collaborated anywhere? It would seem like multiple Israeli officials being assassinated would be picked up by western news.
Live and let Live. Unless there is some specific societal detriment or abuse it shouldn’t be anyone’s business who marry’s who as far as the law is concerned, but also as a society we should discourage dynastic behavior since that leads to a lot of antisocial beliefs.
