I know this is probably a repost but the self-censorship is super annoying and has entered the lexicon in ways that can permanently damage human communication as a whole.

Yeah sure censor stuff from kid shows but we’re at the point where “unalive” and “pdf file” are being used as code words. Everyone knows what they mean, even the censors.

My wife jokes about this a lot but there’s been at least 5 times over the past few years where I just happened to have the exact cable required in the box.

I do go through it every so often. I’m not hoarding VGA and DVI cables

I actually use it for creating thumbnails for a sorta niche application. The resulting files are quite small and the quality is fine. I do remember it being a pain in the ass to deal with ~10 years ago.
