1·5 days agoSame thoughts myself, I mean it’s not 80% altruistic, they’re hoping to get market share for their tools which I’m sure they’ll charge for later. However, the photosensitivity tool actually seems useful.
Everything always remains to be seen with these corporations, they have a shit record with consumer friendly practices after all, but I’m still glad that accessibility in gaming has taken off and welcome attempts to make it easier to support.
Just so PC owners are aware, it’s been confirmed that early access will not contain full ray tracing option.
I am very interested in how well various cards will handle the ready tracing options.

I mean why not offer the user to buy when you’ve made the profit threshold and there was no answer outside of justifying predatory pricing with “but my survey says it’s good!”.
Just solidifies the fact that this is not a company I want to deal with going forward.
