roughly speaking, your monthly interest is 1/12th of the APR.

Edit: payday loans might actually get that high tbh… but that’s a separate issue. Credit card APRs will be around 25-30% most of the time

So… to summarize the argument: we have to build nuclear plants, even though they are the most expensive renewable per kWh and they take the longest amount of time to build (even by the author’s “fast” timeline standards) because we don’t have batteries that can store wind and solar energy, even though there are multiple emerging potential solutions that could result in days-long storage capacity.

That feeling can be emotionally draining, so when it calms down, some people might use the term “calm,” but it’s not “calming” in the conventional sense. It’s just not true that people with ADHD have some “inverse” reaction to stimulants. We still get stimulated
