Masking would have been a much less important factor in the first place if the original response was appropriate. The situation should have been resolved in 4-6 weeks instead of 2-10+ years (however you want to count it).

Of course there would be more infections and deaths under Biden’s 4 years of ongoing pandemic vs Trump’s 9 months of initial pandemic, that data needs to be normalized before it’s compared.

I mostly agree and he deserves the worst for it, I just want Biden to catch shade for his own actions instead of trump’s part of it. At the same time I usually target the US machine entirely since that’s an easier way to wrap their faults up into one (liberals get big mad but idc).

Trump did the original fuck up with covid in February/March of 2020. After the 8 weeks of fucking around (not to mention the following 6 more months of fucking around after that) it would be impossible to clean up.

Not to say that Biden didn’t perpetuate it or fucknit up on his own way. Also not to say that Clinton would have had a competent or effective response (we will never know I guess).

They need to match speed and merge in where there is space; if you see traffic merging in to your lane, leave space for them (drop speed by ~2 kph) so you don’t have to brake.

This take doesn’t translate to IRL praxis so I don’t have a place for it in my worldview. I view that positition as backpilled to the point of being counter-revoluntionary. i will admit that I carry a ton of resentment about the way things are, but my driver is not that nor a sense of anger, but rather my vision for the better, socialist, world that I believe is possible for the next generation. I have said before that you won’t find me saying “deserved” for the reasons you outlined. Ive always thought “had it coming” was a better way to communicate the concept and I can stand behind that.

I have been a part of this community for almost a decade, and I’m invested in its conduct. i want to be a part of a community that is above le Reddit and X the everything app^TM; if you aren’t interested in elevating the level of discussion I guess I wonder why you wouldnt just be over there anyway.
