The real thing to report on is how while (aparently, because initial reports said no crowd deaths, then Fox reported a crowd death, and now everyone is reporting a crowd death), noone ran. They just kinda mulled around, then started chanting “USA. USA. USA.”

    Behold gentlemen. Fascism manifest.

        Nice pic dude.

My point was the whole being desensitized to gunfire and someone being shot right in front of you, and responding to not only a public shooting, but an assassination attempt with “USA! USA! USA!” like they were at fucking Medieval Times eating a chicken with their bare hands and drinking diet coke and the green knight just took a flail to the bread basket.

I have learned when to hesitate before I ingest media, and I’m still assessing the situation.

For either eventuality, we (Americans) are all so screwed, and the rest of the world is on notice.

Someone hollered “shooter down”, then Trump got up from under the pile of secret service agents. Under those circumstances it doesn’t seem that strange for the crowd to be a little pumped up. But yes, these situations usually take a few days to settle and for the facts to come out. Rumor mills and conspiracy theory engines are going to be in overdrive meanwhile.

On top of the other comment, they’re stadium style bleachers. They are not easily evacuated.
