I’m guessing that you’re probably viewing the community on your home instance, lemmy.one.
Instance A don’t normally get posts to a community on Instance B unless Instance A has at least one user on Instance A subscribed to the community on Instance B.
If that weren’t the case and someone started an instance, they’d promptly get flooded by all the traffic on the Threadiverse; this was something of an issue with running a Usenet server.
I believe that once someone subscribes, then subsequent posts will come over; I don’t believe that historical posts are sent. So you’ll probably need to wait for posts to come in.
Am I dumb, or is that community completely empty?
