First Arsenal bid for Declan Rice rejected by @WestHam, who are unimpressed by both the size and the structure of the offer. Arsenal will be back but West Ham anticipating Man City will come in for him. City exploring options currently.
I’m having a really hard time not making a dick joke.
Also, how hard did we low-ball them for? The lowest report we saw said 85+10, which surely can’t be as insulting as this tweet implies. That being said, I imagine the first bid will always get turned down, so I’m not mad. How long do we have to wait between bids so at to not seem overeager?
Realistically I don’t think they can. He’s made it extremely clear that he wants to move to a CL club. They risk getting nothing for him next summer. That being said, there’s so much hype around him that if for some ungodly reason, we passed on him, he’d be snapped up quickly.
Pounds would make more sense, since then I’ve seen reports of the opening bid being 80M + 10M. I’m guessing it eventually will get done at something like 90M + 8M.

The number I read was 70m + addons (don’t know if it was pound or euros)
